Spring 2019 Bios
Emily Benevento is a sophomore in the Gabelli School of Business. She plans on majoring in Accounting with hopes of going to law school and starting a career in Business and Contract Law. She loves exploring New York City and going to the beach.
Ryann Chandler just finished her freshman year at Fordham’s Rose Hill campus. Although she intends to major in International Political Economy with a double minor in Business Administration and Spanish, she had so much fun writing and revising this paper that she’ll have to find a way to sneak English into her coursework as well. In her free time this summer, Ryann has been busy working with middle schoolers and spam texting her family and friends. She would like to thank her dad for always being her pal and, in turn, for inspiring her to write about this topic.
Tim Copeck is a sophomore at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, where he is studying finance. Originally from Connecticut, Tim is involved in several business clubs at the Rose Hill campus and participated in two service trips his freshman year. Some of his interests include sports, travel, and outdoor activities.
Christopher Kerrane is a rising sophomore at Fordham University, planning to major in Finance with a possible minor in English. Growing up in New Hyde Park, NY, he always had a deep appreciation for various genres of music. This essay was inspired by his fascination with pop culture and the way we remember late celebrities.
Meghan McAlary is a rising sophomore at Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business. She intends to major in Business Administration and minor in History, and eventually pursue law school. In her free time, Meghan enjoys playing softball, running, and spending time outdoors. This essay was inspired by her interest in history and international relations, as well as her Irish heritage.
Jessica Sudol is a sophomore at the Gabelli School of Business and is pursuing a concentration in entrepreneurship. She is from San Diego and in her free time enjoys visiting art museums and drawing. Her love for art is what inspired her to write this essay.
