About the Author

Arezu Tavakoli is a sophomore at Fordham. Her focus is Theatre, but she also designs tattoos, dances, sings, and edits media. This is Arezu’s first poem, but it won’t be the last. She enjoyed writing, recording, and editing it immensely and now wants to implement it into her studies. Arezu thanks Professor Shubhangi Mehrotra for providing space to experiment with poetry, her parents for their endless support, and every mentor for sharing their knowledge and guidance. One day, she will do the same.
